AVVIA

About

Avvia is a residential tower located in Escazú, Costa Rica, designed in close connection with its surrounding landscape. Positioned between the mountains of Pico Blanco and elevated views toward San José, the project explores the relationship between architecture, nature, and atmosphere through a series of exterior visualizations across different moments of light.

The building is immersed within a dense natural environment, bordered by a river corridor, mature trees, bamboos, and layered vegetation that frame the architecture rather than separate it from the site. Gardens, pathways, and tree-lined edges soften the transition between structure and landscape, allowing the tower to feel embedded within its surroundings.

The imagery focuses on how light transforms the project throughout the day — from bright daytime clarity to warm sunset reflections and atmospheric evening scenes. Reflections, shadows, and transparency reveal the architectural character while reinforcing its connection to the environment. Outdoor amenities are woven into the landscape, including pathways through the greenery, a yoga deck, Casa Club, firepit lounge, and shared gathering spaces that extend the relationship between architecture and nature.
