CASA CHAMELEON
About
Perched along the coastline of Guanacaste, these residences are shaped by a quiet dialogue between tropical landscape and contemporary architecture. Framed by ocean views and surrounding hills, the project unfolds through layered terraces, open-air circulation, and generous overhangs that soften the transition between interior and exterior. The architecture feels integrated with its setting — elevated yet grounded — where vegetation, natural light, and material warmth become part of the living experience rather than decoration.
The interiors embrace a refined sense of calm, drawing from a palette of stone, wood, woven textures, and handcrafted details. Large openings dissolve the boundary between private spaces and the surrounding scenery, allowing each residence to feel connected to the coastline beyond. Communal areas extend this atmosphere through infinity-edge pools, shaded cabanas, and open-air gathering spaces that overlook the water. Throughout the project, tropical modernism is expressed through restraint: architecture that favors proportion, texture, and atmosphere over excess, creating a sense of luxury rooted in place, comfort, and permanence.
